Kane Signs New Contract with Bayern

Harry Kane has agreed in principle to a new long-term contract with FC Bayern running through June 2029, according to transfer insider Fabrizio Romano, who cited Sky reporter Michael Bridge.

Both the contract term and the financial terms have already been negotiated. The contract documents are now with the lawyers, who are reviewing the deal and are expected to approve it for signing. Although no specific new annual salary has been publicly disclosed, an agreement on compensation is reportedly in place.

The 33-year-old’s current contract runs through the summer of 2027. The new deal would tie him to the Bundesliga club for two more years.

Bayern Signals Long-Term Plans

Bayern officials have repeatedly made clear in recent months that they are planning for the long term with their star striker. Kane has also signaled on several occasions that he feels at home in Munich and is open to staying longer.

Most recently, sporting director Max Eberl said talks were going well but had not yet been finalized, noting that some details still needed to be worked out. Now, the contract appears to need only legal finalization. Once the documents are reviewed and approved, the signing could take place.

The development resolves one of the most important questions about the future of the Bayern squad: Kane wants to stay, and both sides have apparently already agreed on the contract term and salary.
