Can you believe it??? One more sleep until Pumpkin Prowl. Where does the time go. It’s supposed to be between 10-12 degrees Celsius tomorrow for the festivities at the park and cooling down to between 6-8 degrees during the trick-or-treating portion of the evening. Although we run rain or shine, we are glad rain is not on tap tomorrow. Wind gusts are also to be at a bare minimal as well after a blustery day today. Thank you mother nature.

Below, is a poem my wife Tara created the first Pumpkin Prowl she was with us back in 2015. The layout has changed yearly but the wonderful poem itself has remained the same. We love it and hope you do too.

‘Twas the night before Pumpkin Prowl
And all through the ‘hood
Lots of creatures were stirring
Surely up to no good
The pumpkins were carved
And the ghosts were all booing
All the neighbours were wondering
What on earth are they doing?
It ain’t Halloween yet!
For it seems much too early
It isn’t time yet
For such hurly burly!
But they just didn’t know
What Pumpkin Prowl was about
It’s an event for all kids!
In Hamilton and throughout
‘Cause no one should miss Halloween
For a schedule or work
It should never be missed
For that’d be berserk!
So Belview Park is the place
Where little ghosts and goblins all meet
For surprises and games
Before we trick-or-treat
So get ready, get set
Tomorrow’s the day
Put on your costume
Pumpkin Prowl’s on the way!
